Yes. Scanning, creating all 16 code types, the colour presets, your history and designing cards are free, supported by ads. Some extras — most module and eye shapes, custom colour pickers, image logos, and saving or sharing an export — open after one short video. Premium removes the ads and unlocks everything for good.

No. There is no sign-up, no email address and no password. Premium is tied to your Google Play account so it follows you to a new phone; use Restore Purchase on the Premium screen if it does not appear.

Android, on Google Play. There is no iPhone version yet, and no desktop or web version — this site's demos are a preview, not the app.

Scanning, creating, styling, cards and history all work with no connection. The online half of link safety needs one — without it the app says Not checked instead of guessing. Ads, purchases and update checks also need a connection.

Ten: English, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic, French, Portuguese, German, Chinese, Indonesian and Russian. Every screen is translated, and Arabic is laid out right-to-left. Change it in Settings → Language.

Sixteen: website links, Wi-Fi, plain text, contacts (vCard), email, phone, SMS, UPI payments, calendar events, map locations, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, Facebook and X. Barcodes are read but not created.

Usually one of three things: the two colours are too close in contrast, the logo covers too many modules for the error-correction level, or an ornate eye shape has distorted the three finder squares a reader looks for first. Raise the correction level, shrink the logo, or go back to a plainer eye.

Yes — a single character or emoji on any plan, or your own photo or brand mark with Premium (or after a short video). Keep it small and re-run the scan test.

QR codes and common barcodes, live from the camera or from an image in your gallery. It works out what the code is — a link, a network, a contact, a payment, an event — and offers the one action that matters.

Yes. Batch mode keeps the camera open and collects codes into a list: up to 10 per batch on the free plan, unlimited with Premium.

Yes, with Gallery. It uses the Android system photo picker, so the app never needs access to your whole photo library.

Check the camera permission: Android Settings → Apps → QR Craft → Permissions → Camera → Allow. If it is blocked, the app shows the steps and a shortcut. You can still scan from a photo without the permission.

Business cards, visiting cards, gift cards, event invites and counter standees — 79 designs across the five, each with a back (except standees, whose back nobody sees).

Cards are the international 85.6 × 54 mm; event invites are A6 (105 × 148 mm); standees are 4 × 6 inches (101.6 × 152.4 mm). The PDF is laid out at exact size at 300 DPI, with bleed, which is what a print shop expects.

Yes. Arrange lets you pick up any piece — name, details, QR, monogram — and move or resize it, and you can restore the template's layout at any time. Colours, palettes, corner shapes, typography and QR placement are all adjustable, and the app keeps text readable when you change a background.

No. Designing is always free. Saving, sharing or exporting one takes a short video on the free plan; premium designs carry a watermark until you upgrade.

Two layers. On the phone, the address itself is read for the tricks scams rely on: a destination hidden before an “@”, look-alike characters, a raw IP, a known shortener, no encryption, a risky domain ending, an unusual port, buried subdomains. Then, if it can, the app asks Google Web Risk whether the site is a known bad one.

That the online lookup did not run — you are offline, the check is switched off, or the device's monthly allowance is spent. The app says so instead of implying the link is safe. The on-device checks still ran.

Yes: Settings → Google Safe Browsing. With it off, no address is ever sent anywhere.

No. It means nothing suspicious was found. New scam sites appear faster than any list can track them, so treat a code from an unknown source with the same care you would an unknown email.

No. It builds and reads UPI codes; the payment happens in your own UPI app, with your bank. QR Craft never holds funds and is not a party to any payment.

Use Test in UPI app: the app opens the exact code in your UPI app so you can see the payee name your customers will see. Then make one small real payment to the printed proof before the full run.

Yes, and you can mark one as “My UPI” so it is filled in for you. They are stored on your phone.

Both exist. Monthly renews until you cancel and may include a free trial; lifetime is a one-time purchase with nothing to renew. Prices are shown in your currency by Google Play before you pay. There is no yearly plan.

Google Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → QR Craft → Cancel. Premium stays active until the period you paid for ends. See the Subscription and Refund Policy.

Make sure you are signed in to Google Play with the account that bought it, then tap Restore Purchase on the Premium screen. If the store cannot be reached the app says so and keeps your codes and cards untouched in the meantime.

No. Codes, cards and history live in a database on your phone. The exceptions are named in the Privacy Policy: a scanned link's address goes to Google Web Risk, the free plan's ads come from Google AdMob, purchases go through Google Play, and settings are fetched from Firebase Remote Config.

Only when you tap Save to Contacts on a scanned contact code, or use your own details to fill a card. Nothing is read otherwise, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Settings → Backup → Danger Zone clears scan history, generated codes or saved cards. Uninstalling removes the lot. There is no cloud copy to chase — see the Data Deletion Notice.
